What We Are

The Fireside Recovery Program in Dallas, TX is structured for men 18 and over, who have completed detox and an inpatient substance recovery program.  Residents must commit to the rules of living in a sober living home and be a supportive member for their housemates.

  • We are not a place to detox.
  • No Drama.
  • No violence or aggressive behaviors.
  • No disrespect to fellow residents.
  • Boring – This group knows how to have fun in sobriety.
  • No alcohol or illegal substances of any kind.

What Makes the Fireside Process Work?


  1. Research shows that maintaining sobriety for at least one year provides a 67% chance at long term sobriety (and the odds increase with each additional year). (Source: An Eight-Year Perspective on the Relationship Between the Duration of Abstinence and Other Aspects of Recovery)
  2. All residents of the house are committed to sober living with a zero-tolerance policy for offenders/relapse.
  3. A structured environment to support the positive aspects of daily living:
    • Participation in a 12-step program to build a community of support.
    • Requirement to work a minimum of 25 hours per week or be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree or certification.
    • Rules of the House to support an Up & Out philosophy.
    • Regular substance tests.
    • Facility Managed by personnel that understand addiction who can encourage, support, and mentor you through recovery.
  4. Building a community of support with high quality relationships with others who share your recovery goals.
